Therapy

Individual therapy provides a safe, confidential space to explore what is of most concern to you. We balance learning adaptive skills for dealing with difficult symptoms and challenges with a focus on approaching and resolving the underlying dynamics contributing to these difficulties. In this way, we help you to develop a meaningful relationship with yourself while moving toward the life you want. 

 

Our approach to therapy may vary from session to session. We have found that being flexible and tailoring an approach to each client's unique needs helps to produce the lasting change clients seek.

In Family Therapy, we help families: 

 

  • Draw upon the strengths and commitment of families to help explore difficulties they are experiencing

  • To assist the family members to re-build communications and relationships where they have broken down

  • Help family members to understand each other better and to work together.

  • To give family members including children a space to explore their feelings and issues and to develop positive coping skills

  • To assist the family unit to develop the skills to deal with problematic behaviours and/or other concerns

anyone can get therapy without traveling to an office. 

 

Clients are in the comfort of their own home, which can help them feel safe and be more open and receptive.

Distance is not an issue and online counseling SESSIONS can take place between two people in different parts of the world.

ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

An Employee Assistance Program or EAP as it is more commonly called is a program dedicated to enhancing an employees’ personal well-being and increasing effective job performance and job satisfaction.

 

It provides confidential, professional counseling when we need help to resolve personal problems that are affecting ourselves, our family or our work.

All of us have problems from time-to-time. When a personal problem makes life difficult, it can affect our work. The EAP is designed to help employees before personal problems become work problems. Sometimes conflicts happen with other employees. Resolving the difficulties before they become chronic problems also contributes to feeling better and increasing job effectiveness.

The EAP services are confidential. Voluntary use of EAP services will not be noted in any of your organization’s official records or in employees’ personnel files. No one will know of your participation in EAP unless you so choose. Information from EAP files can be released only with your written permission
